  • Jacques Darcy from European Investment Fund (EIF): continues to make significant investments in the Space sector as, in addition to being a strategic frontier, it is increasingly militarised. Mandate expanded on this purpose. The European Tech Champion Initiative (ETCI), the fund channelling late-stage growth capital into the European ecosystem, is a success and will continue to allocate capital to European growth funds.
  • Artefact: Europe lags on AI investments. However, AI used by organisations (adoption) is similar in the US and Europe (The 2025 AI Report published by Stanford University). The Adopt AI Summit ( will be held at the Grand Palais in Paris in November and will regroup 25,000 people with over 500 speakers from around the world, announced as the Davos of AI (https://lnkd.in/emsu2UKG).
  • laurent alexandre: strong message on the European status and why it needs to wake up. Europe tends to regulate what it cannot build, and ethics without power are merely decoration. Europe is renting its cognitive infrastructure. Europe needs to react now.
